Gas mileage is another important thing to consider. A car may be very affordable but if it isn’t efficient you will end up having to pay more at the pump. Over time; gas costs can offset the initial low cost of the car. Hybrids are also efficient but as stated earlier may need battery replacement at some point further down the line.
Don’t forget to factor in insurance costs; you will have to make monthly payments for as long as you drive; it’s the law. Economy and more affordable cars are usually cheaper to insure. Fast and upscale autos are deemed as higher risk by the underwriters and come with higher monthly premiums.
