This lowered the number of nurses who worked in the Philippines because most of them would work in the U.S. Filipino nurses are more preferred because they are more caring and attentive to the sick. This is innate in every Filipino because they were born and raised that way. Thus, the families of these nurses encouraged their fresh graduates to take up nursing so they can have a good opportunity for employment abroad.
However, when they graduated after 5 years, the demand for nurses lowered. Nowadays, agile project management and lean project management are now in demand. They work in industries creating new products that will fill a new need. The lean managers would find ways of creating new products out of the by-products.
