We can’t blame it on the genes anymore. We have used it too many times and it simply became a cliche. The underlying reason for our increasing number of overweight people is because of negligence to follow proper dieting.

More and more health problems arise because we adapted a junk food culture. Believe it or not, we have put fast food on top of our dietary pyramids. Fast food is mainly junk food. We have adapted a liking to it over home cooked meals. And fast food is such a hit because we can order food today, and then order a different batch for romorrow.

It seems we have forgotten what health diets are all about. With all the hype on healthy living and weight loss, it seems everything is just on the surface and deep inside; we cannot face the main cause of our health problems which is healthy diet.

Remember the go, grow and glow foods back in grade school. It’s pretty simple and it’s what we should all follow. Carbs for go foods, and should be in appropriate servings, meat for your grow foods which should be in single servings only and veggies or fruits for your glow foods. With healthy eating and dieting, our body chemistries get balanced. Junk food is usually just made of carbs or fats.

We need to incorporate healthy eating and diet plans in our family plans. With healthy eating and diet, you need not lecture me on them. Doing that is detrimental to your health. And our main objectives will be replacing useless foods with nutritional foods.

With the right amount of each type of food, our bodies can easily recover from many different ailments. With the right types of foods, we will get antioxidants to height. With healthy dieting, it’s ok to get full when eating. Unhealthy dieting may cause heart attack, diabetes and many other sorts of ailments. Today, healthy eating diet should be part of every home.
