Most people approach retirement with a gloomy face. They accept retirement as if it is a surrender to the hands of fate and the decay of the body. So, it is very important to help the retiree realize that retirement is something to be accepted because it is an inevitable development in life. But how can one do that? Its simple: just poke fun at retirement. Retirement jokes, like the ones made in speeches are popular. However, speeches tend to become emotional to the point where everyone in the room is in a state of gloom and sympathy. But one can raise the level of the mood with retirement jokes (without insulting the retiree, of course).

People regard retirement in different ways. Those who have saved or invested enough to be able to enjoy their retirement in style usually look forward to giving up the daily grind, whereas those who have not saved are normally not looking forward to it. However, there is another group of individuals who span both of these classes who do not want to retire either.

There was a huge increase in the birth rate after the Second World War. These babies were nicknamed the Baby Boomers and they are the babies born between around 1946 and 1960. This means that the first Baby Boomers became pensioners in 2011 at the age of 65.

A ’senior’, by definition, is a person older than yourself or, more broadly speaking, an older member of the community. ‘Dating’, by definition describes the courtship between two people - which is usually romantic - who are either hoping or not hoping to get married.

Retirement may be a long, long way off for you or it may be right immanent. matter how near or far away it is, you have definitely got to begin saving for it right now. However, saving for retirement isn’t what it used to be with the increase in the cost of living and the unreliability of social security. Nowadays, you have to invest for your retirement future, as opposed to just saving for it!

Dating advice is all over the internet, in magazines, books, newspapers and on TV. There’s even an eight year old who wrote a book filled with great dating advice. (That kid is pretty smart and must be really good with the girls, because while basic, all of his dating advice rings true. If you’ve read the book, however, you’d be forced to admit that the eight-year-old boy does know what he’s talking about and he keeps it simple. The important thing in dating is to do just that and not complicate things.
