Muhammad Ali was 70 on January 17th, 2012. He was the most feared opponent in the boxing ring in his long and dynamic career and with very good cause. He won the world heavy weight boxing championship three times after winning a gold medal at the Olympics and was named sportsman of the century by the BBC and Sports Illustrated.

Compared to other sorts of exercise routines, perhaps an MMA workout is the most demanding. Normal body-building types is not going to make the grade with this exercise, since the intensity necessary to complete it nicely is quite high.

The term ’submission wrestling’ is a bit of a blanket term really, because it refers to components of many of the various martial arts and is not a true martial art itself, although some may argue that it is, but that it has been incorporated into other martial arts, masking its own unique history.
