There are a lot of means to remember birthdays of our family and friends. We can scribble it on calendars or organizers and write it in memo stickers to remind us. However, we still tend to forget since we also forget to check on them as often as we should.

Certainly, your friends and loved ones are getting tired of receiving the same old greeting card that they have been given repeatedly on their every year of their lives. The cards tend to have the same jokes or sentimental messages that just grow more and more tired.

Not remembering the birthdays of people special to you can be more than just embarrassing. Just imagine yourself talking about how wonderful the morning is to your wife while your wife hands you your mug of coffee, waiting for you to greet her “happy birthday.” If it is your wife of more than ten years, you may no longer be embarrassed much.

Most people are pretty understanding if you can’t attend their birthdays if you have a legitimate personal or work excuse. However, if you forget entirely, a person is likely to be less easygoing and forgiving. And depending on the celebrant’s personality, you might need to apologize only once or for weeks to get back on their good side. These days, people who may have problems remembering birthdays or other occasions have help and ways to give themselves reminders.
