Litigating A Dui Case In Court

We have been dating for 8 years and the following year, I was planning to ask her to marry me. But this time, the fight went out of control and there was a danger of breaking up.
I was scanning through my emails when a friend called me up. He convinced me to go with him to attend a pool party. Of course, I was not in the mood to party at all. But, instead of moping in my bedroom, I decided to go. I thought that if I go, I would gradually feel better. And when I do, I might actually have the courage to call my girlfriend and patch things up with her.
So there, I drove all the way to my friend’s house to pick him up. Then, we drove 5 kilometers to another friend’s house who was having a pool party. I drank a bottle of beer and soon enough, I got really bored and asked my friend if he wanted to go home. I was bored and was really not in the mood to party. My friend said he would stay awhile, so I went ahead.
While driving home I heard a loud thud. I thought I had ran over a dog. When I got out, I saw the local beggar curling in pain. He was crossing the street when I hit him, but I did not saw him anywhere until the crash. When the police arrived, they helped him to a stretcher. I was made to exhale to a breathalyzer and they saw that I had alcohol levels in my system.
I was indicted so I hired an Oakland DUI lawyer. The lawyer fought so hard that in the end, I got an acquittal. It was not my alcohol intake that caused the mishap, but the drunkenness of the victim himself.
Are you faced with a DUI indictment? DUIs are not difficult to litigate, just as long as you have a good Oakland DUI lawyer to assist you.
