I have been employed for 20 years in a telephone company, while the pay is great, I could not sometimes help but feel that the job was not for me. But since I had a family to feed, I held onto it for 20 long years. I was not selfish enough to leave my job that pays well but makes me feel incomplete and look for something which can be a temporary job or business that may not work out well in the end.

After 20 years, the company declared a redundancy of our position. You see, I worked as a telephone operator and after many years, technology eased us out through direct dialing. The customers can now dial directly anywhere in the world without passing through a telephone operator.

I immediately applied for redundancy and got $1,100,000 as redundancy fee. I was so excited because I was finally free to pursue the career that I was longing to do since I graduated from college. I wanted to be a furniture maker, a decorator and a landscape artist. I now have sufficient money for capital so I was on my way.

My first landscaping Lynchburg job was to landscape the garden of a seafarer’s wife. I finished the Lynchburg landscaping job and was not paid. I made her daughter a koi pond with a concrete fountain and a trellis on which hung a passion fruit vine. The vine offered a shade over the palm-shaped concrete table and chairs.

I built concrete giant bowls stacked loosely slanting pouring water into one another and this was surrounded by plants of different colors, shapes, and height. The combination of concrete, water and slate tiles brought a charm to the once-cold and gloomy house. I plated carabao grass since they were hardy and can withstand traffic compared to Bermuda grass. They also spread and carpeted the entire area in as short as a month. Lawn care Lynchburg has to be called regularly to keep the grass healthy.
