As I drive home after a nature meditation I will generally dwell even more on my heart wander. I will dwell on the insights I obtained, what occurred during the heart walk and the objects inside the wilderness that I got drawn to. As I do this I frequently discover that more insights show up of the surface. When this happens I’ll jot these additional insights down into my nature walk note pad.

Then when i get home I will usually get a few of pages of bullet points and some sketches of insights I usually have obtained around my intention.

Insights by themselves are fantastic however they won’t make any difference of the problem or question you had at the beginning of your nature wander. You will have to really do something with your insights that you have received. You will need to be able to take action on your insights that you obtained in order to have a constructive difference into your life.

And the method to do that would be to start giving your self a few easy questions like:

‘Given this perception around the intention, what is the next step?’

‘What is the next obvious thing to do, given this perception?’

‘How can I deliver this insight into my life?’

‘What can I do with this perception?’.

While you spend some time with every perception and inquiring into these queries, you will discover that there are a number of methods to integrate these insights into your daily life.

For example, one participant on the heart walk obtained the insight that he needs to let go of trying so hard in order to bring more pleasure into his lifestyle. That’s an amazing insight, nevertheless it will not make a difference simply by itself. When giving these questions about how to deliver it into your life a feasible way could be:

‘Whenever I discover I am trying too hard and the starting to become labor (tension in my mind and body), then I’ll scan within my system and mind and consciously permit all the stress to dissolve.’

Obviously this nature meditation be a conscious practice for him to complete, however the more he integrates this insight into his lifestyle the closer he would come to being in alignment to his intention, which was to bring more joy into his lifestyle.
