Get A Taste Of The Good Life With Infiniti’s G25
Posted by Jacqueline Star in Uncategorized, tags: automotive, autos, cars, infiniti, luxury, Uncategorized, vehiclesInfiniti has succeeded in making luxury vehicles affordable with the G25; the G37’s little sister is packed with luxury amenities at a price that’s manageable. The G25 competes in the entry level luxury segment along with the popular three series from BMW and the Lexus IS 250. It is priced approximately $4k cheaper than the G37 and in return also offers less horsepower. Customers have the choice of selecting from three separate trims; the base model, Journey trim level and the deluxe G25x model which features all-wheel drive.
Although horsepower is less than that of the G37, it’s still more than sufficient for your daily commute to work. The engine that propels this vehicle is a 2.5 Liter 6 cylinder with 218 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 187 lb feet of torque. The G25 is only available with a manual transmission. This vehicle is targeted mainly towards consumers who may not need as much horsepower or the same level of high performance the G37 may provide. If you just need a luxury car to get around from point a to point B, this auto would more than suffice.
Infiniti has packed this car with luxurious features such as power adjustable front seats, keyless start, 17″ alloy wheels, luxurious seats crafted out of supple leather and an automatic climate control system. 7.2 seconds is all it takes for the car to propel from 0-60. Select the upper level Journey trim at an extra cost and you receive a rear view camera, USB slots, a climate control system, temperature controlled seats and mirrors which can be heated.
A plethora of safety features and systems have been included for all occupants. Features include an advanced air bag system, front seat active head restraints and an anti-lock braking system. Pre-tensioners are in place which work to tighten up the seat belt during an impending impact. A reinforced passenger compartment and front and rear crumple zones are in place to protect occupants during impact. A tire pressure monitoring system is also in place which lets you know when your tire pressure needs to be adjusted or replaced. Infiniti’s “Snug Kids” system is also in place which is a guide to help you choose and install a child’s seat.
From what I have been reading, it appears that Infiniti is targeting mainly towards female drivers with this vehicle since apparently a lot of females are apprehensive of the “scary” 328 hp of the G37 which I don’t feel is accurate. I myself do not know any women who are afraid of fast and powerful cars, we actually love driving them and price isn’t an issue for many women either. I think the G25 is a car which would be a decent fit for someone of either gender who just graduated college and is working at his or her first professional job or for someone who simply doesn’t require a ton of speed. Personally, I would choose the G37 as I like the thrill of extra power. The G25’s price point is around $32k which is a competitive price for a luxury car.
