Post-recession realities have made it very, very clear. One, money is not as easy to obtain as it once was. Two, you have to really apply yourself to getting money now. Then there is the issue of job permanence. At one time you could retire from your office job. That’s history now, as companies, facing their bottom lines, no longer have any loyalty to their employees. The new reality is that there is no such thing as job security!
