It may come as a surprise to those who have not learned the history of cricket, but it is now thought that Cricket really started in Saxon or Norman times as a children?s game played by children living in the region called the Weald of Kent in what is today Kent and Sussex in South East England . It was not adopted as an adult game until the start of the 17th century.

Millions, and usually tens of millions of individuals in each country suffer from back pain and many of them receive inadequate help. It seems that it is treated nonchalantly because it is so common, but the fact is that it is very difficult to treat. There are so many reasons for back pain and the cause of a person’s back pain may not be immediately apparent.

There are such a lot of tanning lotions, sprays and creams on the market that you could never try them all - you just would not have the time. However, there is one that seems to have taken the tanning industry by storm and that is the tanning lotion they call California Tan or Cal Tan.

Everybody knows about the difficulty with the proliferation of greenhouse gases and the devastation of the rain forests. We all know of the stress that over-crowding puts on the environment and we all know that we are trying to do our bit by recycling. The differences of opinion normally come down to degree. In short, we all know that it is going on, but we do not all agree how bad it has gotten yet.

Magnetic levitation or maglev for short is the system of making a vehicle, more often than not a train, hover over the ‘track’ and travel by the use of magnets. Magnetic levitation has the potential to move trains more quickly and more quietly than traditional wheel-based trains. Surprisingly, most of the power consumed is used to conquered wind resistance at high speed, not to keep the train hovering in mid-air.

We all get bitten by insects from time to time - we are just too plentiful a source of food for insects to disregard. However, some people react quite badly to an insect bite, while others do not seem be all that much troubled by them. The most common insect bites are from mosquitoes, ants, fleas and gnats or midges and now bed bugs are coming back too..
