Hormone Replacement Therapy or HRT is a treatment, mostly for women who have actually reached or passed the menopausal stage. The procedure involves replacement of some of the essential body hormones whose levels drop as one ages. Once you pass the menopausal stage, you will begin to age naturally. When a women starts menopause, the ovary stops functioning and does not anymore produce eggs or ova.
