Within your spiritual realm on a vision quest there is an underlying power that’s guiding every thing. It is guiding the groundwater to flow through the earth. It’s guiding the roots of the trees to grow through the soil. It’s guiding the tiny micro-organisms on the forest floor to break down the leaf litter. It is guiding the birds to fly. And it is also guiding you through life.

To deepen this link to your intuition further, picture what it is like for the object inside nature to be looking at you. Perhaps you have been drawn to some tall tree. Invest a couple of moments imagining what it really is like from the tree’s point of view to be looking down at you. About how little you might appear in the tree’s point view. Or perhaps you’ve been drawn to some spider spinning the web. Imagine what it really is like from the spider’s perspective to glance up at you and see just how big you are standing beside it. Or when you have been drawn to an eagle soaring above, picture what it really is like from the eagle’s point of view to be looking down towards the landscape and noticing you looking up at it.

When you are heading on a heart walk it’s essential to let go of your constant chatter with the little voice within your head. There’s absolutely nothing ‘wrong’ with this particular small voice. Much like the task of the heart is to pump blood, the job of the head would be to think. That is just what it does. Nevertheless this continuous chatter drowns out the delicate voice inside your heart.

Just like in sight we usually run through a very targeted window of listening. For example, as someone is talking to us we are focused on what they’re stating. Similarly with listening towards the tv and listening towards the radio. Or perhaps perhaps listening to an announcement on the railway station. Generally we will concentrate our perception of listening from a single sound towards the subsequent sound. As we pay attention to and concentrate on a single sound we are often not conscious of any other sounds around us like the bird calling from behind us. Or the rustle of the leaves overhead. Or maybe the actions of the lizard to our left during your meditation.

On a nature immersion your internal listening is similar to a sensation that you’re obtaining back from the area. If it feels like a ‘no’ then respect that and visit an additional place. After experiencing this heightening of your spiritual sense of audio, you will probably start to notice you really are a great deal much more aware in the sounds bordering you. That whenever you are in a conversation with somebody that you can listen to them yet at the same time you are aware in the sound forms of the birds or perhaps the rustle of the leaves in the wind around you. That you can also be focused on the sound but also aware of the other sounds surrounding you.

And what I’ve now discovered is the fact that this peak spiritual experience of becoming connected and at 1 with everything is usually there. Even when I feel a perception of stress and tension, I know that underlying these feelings the perception of oneness and link with all objects within nature is usually there. Just waiting around to tap into again.
