A Case of the Benz

The Scottsdale, Arizona Auto Auction is finally wrapping up after four days of shopping, dreaming and drooling over hundreds of amazing antique cars. The results of the auction are a bit outstanding. Over 200,000 visitors filed through the various auction houses on just the first two days. Numbers for the weekend are still being added.

Matchbox vs. Hot Wheels

Every kid in America has owned a Matchbox car or Hot Wheels car, usually both. The Matchbox name started as a brand name for the British owned die-cast toy manufacturer Lesney Products. Before Matchbox car there biggest sales success was a replica of Queen Elizabeth’s II coronation coach which sold a million models.
