Don’t Break the Bank on Spring Break

Spring is almost here and just like the flowers and trees blooming out for all to see, so do college come pouring out in droves as well. Like most college students you probably don’t have much money though. Yes, that cruise to Cancun would be nice, but you got student loans and bill to pay. Fortunately there are plenty of ways to have a more affordable spring break.

Carving a Car

When I was kid in the Boys Brigade, a group very similar to the Boy Scouts, we had an annual tradition that we looked forward to every year: The Pinewood Derby. Primarily a Boy Scott event, the derby is an event where boys take solid blocks of pine wood and carve them into cars and race them.
